Lonney, NJ

"In all these years I never realized that such a simple solution was so readily available. It’s only been a few months since I started using ReGrowth and I’m almost back to normal. Thanks for everything."

David, CA

"A truly wonderful solution for such a terrible problem. When I started losing hair I acted quickly and it’s no longer a problem. Unfortunately, I am one of the lucky few."

Theo, Paris France

"I tried wearing a toupee, but wasn’t fooling anybody. I tried a comb-over, but looked even worse than before. I was considering hair plugs but decided to try this first, and I’m glad I did. I would recommend ReGrowth to anyone."

Ben, TX

How It Works

Hair loss in men – An explanation

Recent advances in medical science have identified the following reason as the major cause of hair loss in men:

Androgenetic Alopecia or "male pattern hair loss" causes 95% of hair loss instances and is genetic or hormonal in nature. Scientific research suggests that a hormonal byproduct, DHT (dihydrotestostrone), is responsible for this condition. The amount of DHT stored in the body directly correlates to the extent of hair follicle thinning and loss.

Although DHT is an important development related male hormone it is also often the cause of hair loss in older men.

DHT is produced from the hormone testosterone with the help of an enzyme- 5-alpha reductase. Once formed, DHT binds itself to the hair follicles, stopping their growth and cutting off the blood supply to the roots. Hair starts to thin and in some cases eventually fall out. Hair typically undergoes three phases of growth within a growth cycle:

1) The growth phase, anagen lasts for two to six years and produces well pigmented and thick hair. At any given time, some 90% of all scalp hairs are in the growth phase. DHT shortens the growth phase thus causing hair to fall out prematurely.

2) A transient phase, catagen is lasts for only a few weeks. During this phase the hair starts to become thinner and hair follicles begin to shrink. DHT encourages hair follicle shrinkage thus preventing hair regrowth.

3) The final phase, telogen lasts for two to four months. During this phase the thinned hair falls out making way for new hair.

Regrowth will first go to work to block DHT from binding to hair follicles, so normal blood flow to the scalp will not be interrupted or impeded in any way. This insures that no further hair will be lost. Once blood flow has returned to the scalp, healthy hair growth can continue. Regrowth then provides hair growth promoting vitamins and nutrients to repair the damaged follicles and stimulate the replacement of lost hair. Our product is completely natural and targets only DHT’s bonding to hair follicles, not DHT production itself, so you don’t have to worry about side effects related to hormone changes.
